June is Apprentice Appreciation Month at My Plumber Heating and Air. All apprentices and the trainers they are riding with get a day of lunch-out on the company. Everyone else in the apprenticeship program gets a certificate of appreciation.
Without the people who apprentice themselves to a company like My Plumber there would simply not be enough plumbers and HVAC techs to go around. Some things you just can’t learn in school and some things you can’t learn anywhere but school, so apprentices get a quality education and hands-on experience in the field, simultaneously.

The picture above was taken several years ago. The young man is working at the parts recognition stage of his apprenticeship, almost ready to go out on a truck with a trainer.
